“Look at how his head tilts when he looks at her.” “Notice how she plays with her hair when he gazes into her eyes.” “Their parents’ eyes sparkle with happiness.” A photograph speaks a thousand words and it is all possible because of an incredible photographer.
Weddings are magic. They bring people, souls, and cultures together. Don’t you think that something as magical as that should be captured? Photography bottles up the wedding joy and keeps it alive forever.
Capturing a memory isn’t as easy as clicking a button. To be a top-notch wedding photographer, you need to invest in the couple. Learn about their journey, what they mean to each other, and how this marriage will bring joy into their life. As a wedding photographer, I make it my duty to spend time with the couple so that I can be as devoted as possible in making their wedding day nothing less than a dream.
The energy at a wedding is always so uplifting. I was a wedding photographer in Minneapolis and the scene was majestic. Toddlers were running around, their giggles masking the chattering of the adults. The bridesmaids were mingling, stealing glances of themselves in the mirror whenever they could. The groomsmen surrounded the groom, roared at their own jokes, and high-fived each other. Everyone was asked to sit and the room went silent. There was a weird calmness in the air. The wedding procession made its way into the room. The bride entered, faces turned, gasps were heard, smiles were seen and tears were wept. The atmosphere was just out of this world. The groom looked nervous but put on a strong face. He too could not control his emotions when his bride walked in. They locked eyes and I captured it.
When you are a photographer, nothing misses your eye. I pick up on the slightest details. I can tell when my client feels anxious or is insecure about their outfit. Sometimes poses make clients uncomfortable and I do my best to make them relax by playing some music or by cracking a light joke. All in all, I make it my duty to make my client feel as relaxed as can be. I also make sure to make bonds with the bridesmaids so that I can capture the love and affection they have for the bride effortlessly.
Girls are easier to deal with. They know how to pose and what angles work for them. Men on the other hand are oblivious. I spend most of my time guiding them and advising them on how to pose so that they don’t look stiff and formal.
Marriage is a beautiful journey and the wedding is just the initial step. I truly believe that how you start things out plays a major role in success which is why I give my everything when it comes to weddings. A wedding is a fairytale, with the bride and groom as the princess and prince and me being the narrator. I look forward to playing a part in your happily ever after!
